In case you haven't figured it out, my name's Timmy. I was born in Honduras to missionary parents, and moved to Pittsburgh, PA at the age of 9. I've lived there ever since . My three main interests are Jesus Christ, traditional Scottish music, and technology. However, I also

  • Play the piano, concertina and tin whistle.
  • Run long distances, because it feels good to stop.
  • Enjoy acting (but can NOT sing.)
  • Speak Spanish
  • Am learning Gaelic.

If you want to stalk me...

  • Email: tsmacdonaldATgmail.com
  • Facebook: Three guesses..and the first two don't count...
  • Myspace: Don't use it
  • AIM: Email me for it
  • GTalk: I'm moving from cowsrhot to tsmacdonald, so for now probably cowsrhot...
  • Address: Email me (you stalker!)
  • Phone: Email me

...I also turn to Wikipedia for just about everything that requires knowledge...And believe it's more accurate than something like Britannica...in case you were wondering.

Politically, I'm conservative/Republican/right-wing. I try not to be too extreme, and my three main thoughts are:

  • Abortion is murder.
  • The more guns people have on the street, the safer I feel, and the lower the crime rate's going to be. Also, I believe Americans have the Constitutional right to own and operate firearms.
  • I'd rather be taxed less, and use the money to buy the service I want, than be taxed more and get everything from the government. I don't want my tax money going to some welfare-abusing bloke 2,000 miles away from where I live. I'd rather give the money to a charity by my own free will.

Just thought I'd throw it out there...this is an "About" page...

Credits/Thanks:
  • Timmy Macdonald: Coding, upkeep.
  • Andrew Min: Webspace. I guess things have sort of come full circle, I quote from his (older) webpage: "Without him [Tim Fau, owner of timstown.net, who gave Andrew webspace]... I'd still be using GeoCities" And now I can say, "Without Andrew Min, I'd still be using Geocities." And for a while...I was. Andrew also installed my two(!) blogs and is great at answering random, difficult, technical questions.
  • All the geniuses at Wordpress: For making my blog. (The coding, not the content :)
  • All the geniuses at Google: For their analyzing skills.
  • All the geniuses at Dreamhost: For selling Andrew the web/server space that he's giving me, and being a really great hosting company.
